Wednesday, 22nd Mar 2017 10:21

Christophe Berra, Andre Dozzell and Tristan Nydam could all win international caps later today.

Centre-half Berra, 32, will be hoping to add to his 34 caps and his three international goals when Scotland take on Canada at Easter Road in a friendly (Sky Sports One, from 7.30pm) ahead of their World Cup qualifier with Slovenia at Hampden Park on Sunday.

Dozzell and Nydam are with the England U18s for three friendlies being played at the Aspire Sports Village in Doha, Qatar.

The England youngsters face the hosts in the first of two friendlies between the sides today, the second is on Friday, before they take on Saudi Arabia next Monday.

Dozzell, 17, has previously won six caps at U18 level, while Nydam, also 17, is with the squad for the first time having been a late call into the travelling party.

Good luck to all but especially Tristan as he was a student where I work and a really great lad. Myself and the P.E department at St Benedict's Colchester will be looking out to see if he makes an appearance.
