Berra Unused Sub as Scotland Win
Sunday, 26th Mar 2017 21:48

Blues defender Christophe Berra was an unused sub as Scotland beat Slovenia 1-0 in this evening’s World Cup qualifier at Hampden Park.

Suffolk-born former Norwich striker Chris Martin, who is on loan at Fulham from Derby, netted the game’s only goal with two minutes left on the clock having come on as a sub.

Berra, 32, who remains on 35 caps and three international goals, was left out of the side despite having started the 1-1 friendly draw with Canada in midweek and the previous qualifier, the 3-0 loss to England in November.

The pattern is : Berra in : defeat ; Berra in : draw ; Berra out : win.
That may prove too complicated a code for Strachan to crack ; McCarthy has the same problem with regard to Old King Cole Skuse ...

Ol' King Cole Skuse, I like it lol!
All I can say is I'm usually not a Merry Ol' Soul when Ol' King Cole Skuse makes the starting 11 which is far more often than not with Capt. Mick!
