Player Awards Evening Tickets on Sale
Tuesday, 28th Mar 2017 17:15

Tickets to the Supporters Club’s Player Awards Evening, which takes place following the final home game of the season against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday 29th April, are now on sale.

Doors open at 6.15pm with a meet-and-greet with the current first team squad plus coaching staff in Legends Bar where fans can grab photos and autographs.

Following that the awards themselves, including the Supporters Player of the Year, which was won last season by keeper Bartosz Bialkowski, will be handed out Sir Bobby Robson Suite with Radio Suffolk’s Mark Murphy hosting.

The evening, which is in aid of the ITFC Academy and the Lighthouse Women’s Aid, includes a buffet and is scheduled to finish at around 10.30pm.

Tickets cost £23 each and are available from Elizabeth Edwards by emailing officialitsc@btinternet.com or ringing 07968 876504. They can also be purchased in the FanZone before home games and Legends Bar afterwards.

Meanwhile, there will be a Legends in Legends event with former Blues stars who are yet to be confirmed following Saturday's game against Birmingham City. Legends Bar will be open until 6.30pm.

Surely (apart from the two players my learned fellow supporters have mentioned already) no one can be congratulated let alone awarded for the dross we have had to endure this season. Rather than awarding the players, how about awarding the supporters for turning up each week and putting up with the garbage Mick and co serve up!

The club should cancel this event. Donate the money saved to a charity voted for by supporters.

Apart from Bart & Tom the rest should be getting a P45 not a friggin award !!!!

Some of the younger lads deserve a chance but the undropables should foxtrot oscar with the dinosaur before they all take this club down.

We're a joke.

I literally have no enthusiasm for celebrating anything that has happened this season. I can barely summon up the will to attend games at the moment - it's like me having a really bad week at work, sitting there with my thumb up my ar$e and doing the bare minimum and then going home on Friday and patting myself on the back because I managed to avoid getting sacked.

Even in the Season ticket renewal video they had to go back to 1976 to find a decent highlight !!

Sums MM management up a treat, the goalkeeper 2 years running could be the supporters player of the year!
