Salmon After New Deal
Salmon After New Deal
Tuesday, 30th Apr 2002 10:07

Fourth choice Town keeper Mike Salmon says he is hoping to negotiate a new contract at Portman Road. The ex-Charlton man's current deal is up at the end of the season, but he wants to prolongue his career as long as possible.

Salmon, in action for the reserves last night, said: "I feel really great and just want to keep playing as long as I can."

The 37-year-old keeper has failed to make a single first team appearance since joining Town in July 1999.
