Town have released right-back John Kennedy. The Cambridge born player made nine appearances for the first team, all during the hiatus between Mauricio Taricco joining Spurs and Fabian Wilnis joining. Since then Gary Croft has also signed for Town and it looked inevitable that Kennedy would find himself on his way from Portman Road. He is likely to find a club in the lower leagues and says he is sending round a few letters.

Neil Midgley has joined Kidderminster on loan 'til the end of the season as reported yesterday. The transfer deadline for the Conference is today. Kidderminster could well run out winner of the Conference. They are currently vying with Brian Talbot's Rushden and Diamonds for the title.

Jim Magilton is over his bruised thigh and Fabian Wilnis is ready to return to training after his hamstring injury. Marcus Stewart is still undergoing treatment with his groin problem and is very unlikely to make it for Tuesday's game with West Brom.
