Despite the season being over Town have a number of players still undergoing treatment. Four players are recovering from operations while others are still suffering with knocks picked up late in the 2001/02 campaign.

Keith Branagan underwent shoulder surgery and has seen a specialist. The keeper received good news and is hopeful of making pre-season training. Jermaine Wright and Fabian Wilnis both had hernia operations and also hope to be back for pre-season.

However, Titus Bramble, who had achilles surgery, is likely to miss the start of pre-season training but be should be ready for the pre-season matches - if he's still at Town.

Other than the players who have had operations, Chris Makin, Thomas Gaardsøe, Ulrich Le Pen, Alun Armstrong and Wayne Brown are all still being treated for injury problems.

Makin and Gaardsøe have ankle knocks but should be OK for pre-season while Alun Armstrong is to see a specialist about his long-term back problem. The striker may require an injection and will be given an exercise programme aimed at improving his back.

Wayne Brown has seen the same specialist about his hamstring problem. The central defender has picked up two hamstring strains in the past few seasons and the injury is thought to be related to his back. He has been given an exercise programme aimed at improving this.

Ulrich Le Pen, currently back in France, has a thigh strain and has also undergone treatment.
