Youngster Vega Joins Lowestoft on Loan
Friday, 16th Nov 2018 22:19

Academy defender Luca Vega has joined Lowestoft Town on a month’s loan.

Lowestoft manager Jamie Godbold said: ”Luca is a young left-footed defender who will maintain squad balance after the loss of two left-footed players and a defender this week.

“He is a talented lad who we hope will do well for us. Thanks once again to Ipswich Town for their support."

Vega, 17, who has been with Town since he was seven, is likely to make his Trawlerboys debut at Redditch in the Evo-Stik South Premier Division Central tomorrow.

Earlier this week, midfielder Conor McKendry ended a spell on loan at Lowestoft.

Northstander Blue in what possible way is this a 'shame'? Good young player getting a months experience playing competive football?! He's 17 and miles off being ready for us. If you can find a negative in this you can find one in anything.
