Middlesbrough are once again being linked with a move for Matt Holland. The Teesiders have long been reported to have had an interest in the Town skipper, but now reports in the North-East claim manager Steve McClaren could be about to make a move.

TWTD understands that Fulham are still the favourites to land Holland should the 28-year-old decide to leave Portman Road, with a swift deal possible once he has returned from holiday.

It is believed that a move to the North is not one which would be attractive to either the player or his family.

In Italy Serie A side Torino are also still being strongly linked with the Town captain.
