The Town squad are off to Goodwood this week to continue their pre-season training. The three-day trip to the South Downs will be a team-building exercise.

Manager George Burley will join up with the squad after his holiday as will Slovenian Amir Karic, reportedly on the verge of extending his loan at NK Maribor.

Town's keepers will spend their time at Malcolm Webster's coaching course at Alsager, Cheshire. Webster has run the course for a number of years and it is attended by keepers from many clubs including Richard Wright.

Former Luton, Rushden and Wimbledon keeper Ian Feuer is being linked with a move to Portman Road in this morning's papers.

Feuer, 6'7" tall, trained with the Town goalkeepers last week apparently until he finds a club after leaving Wimbledon.

A Town move for the 31-year-old looks unlikely despite the exit of Matteo Sereni with Keith Branagan nearing fitness, Andy Marshall the first choice, James Pullen returned from Blackpool and youngster Lewis Price highly-rated.
