U18s Draw With Barnsley

Town’s U18s continued their unbeaten start to the season by drawing 0-0 with Barnsley at Playford Road yesterday afternoon.

The young Blues are in action again on Tuesday when they face Needham Market in the first round of the Suffolk Premier Cup at Bloomfields (KO 7.45pm). The winners of the tie will take on Haverhill Rovers away in round two.

Town's U23s are in action on Monday when they take on Burnley at Curzon Ashton’s Tameside Stadium (KO 1pm).

U18s: Alley, Ruffles, O’Reilly, Healy, Baggott, Henderson (c), Curtis, Baker, Bareck, Gibbs, Mesuria.

Upthetown1970 added 17:18 - Sep 15 Watched 60 mins of this match before leaving for the first team match. Gibbs for me was the stand out performer. His movement was superb and should be playing with the 23's to progress his abilities. Baggott also was very good and is worth a mention. Still unbeaten so well done to all involved.
