 Thursday, 5th Sep 2002 12:37 Teen sensation Darren Ambrose has walked the TWTD Player of the Month award for August. Ambrose only made his first start at the beginning of the month but some excellent performances and three goals have greatly impressed. The young midfielder picked up 68.9% of the 1,000 or so votes we received with Matt Holland a distant second on 14.9% and Pablo Couñago a surprise third on 8.8%.
