Town are looking to another Dutchman as replacement for the departed Bobby Petta. Romeo Wouden is the man European Scout Romeo Zondervan sees as the ideal man to fill the left wing berth. 28 year old Wouden currently plays for Sparta Rotterdam, but has previously played at Heerenveen, Boavista (Portugal) and Vera Cruz of Mexico. He has been largely out of favour since his move back to Holland, but is likely to command a fee. It is likely he will play in tomorrow's friendly with Peterborough at London Road.

Romeo looks hard for the camera during his days in Mexico. No big head is he?

Other trialist, Swede Jonas Axeldahl appears to have impressed George Burley. The Town manager wants him to come over and continue his trial at some point.

Suffolk's least favoured Dutchman, Bobby Petta, has been showing his stuff to his new Scottish friends, both on the pitch and off. He scored Celtic's only goal in their defeat at Leeds on Saturday and has been blabbing all over the Scottish press about how glad he was to leave Town and be at a big club again. He also argues that when he wasn't offered a new contract with everyone else last summer he decided to leave. As far as we recollect he was offered a contract right at the beginning of the season which was on a par with the contract accpeted by Kieron Dyer. Never did like the bloke...
