Town Out to Identify Fans

Town officials and the police are studying footage of the pitch invasion towards the end of Sunday's East Anglian derby in order to identify the invaders. Prosecution and bans could follow.

Town are likely to face action from the FA over the invasion which saw twenty or so supporters enter the field of play after Pablo Couñago had scored the all-important equaliser.

The club will want to show the FA that they are trying their utmost to discover the identities of the invaders and take action as this could reduce the any punishment they receive. A fine of several thousand pounds looks on the cards.

A number of those involved in the invasion are said to be known to the police, making identification easier.
