Cundy in New Battle Thursday, 26th Sep 2002 09:43 Former Town defender Jason Cundy is facing another battle against cancer. The 32-year-old announced yesterday that recent tests showed signs of pre-cancerous cells emerging. Cundy, who previously fought testicular cancer five years ago, says he is determined to overcome the disease once again: "I have to believe I will beat it again. There's no other way I can approach it. I've got so much support around me, I've got two beautiful sons and a beautiful wife and I can't think any different." The ex-Spurs, Portsmouth and Chelsea man will undergo radiotherapy to kill the cells which can be a pre-cursor to the disease's return. TWTD wishes Jason all the best in his treatment.
