Paul After Clean Sheets

Loanee keeper Paul Gerrard is after two clean sheets in the final games of his month's loan at Portman Road. Gerrard will be between the sticks at Brighton tonight and against Watford on Saturday before his time is up.

Gerrard is determined to not to concede goals and help Town to victories he believes their performances have deserved: "The aim was to come down here and win as many games as possible in that month and I take it personally when we lose as we have the last two games.

"I have two games left and I'm out to win both and hopefully keep clean sheets. That will make it four out of six.

"As far as I'm concerned I'm looking forward to having a good game on Saturday and then returning to Everton."

Gerrard has been impressed with Town during his time at Portman Road: "I have not seen a better footballing side than Ipswich. They just need a touch of luck, get on a winning run to turn the corner and you are looking towards the play- offs."
