Academy defender Chris Hogg was left out of the England U18s side which drew 0-0 with Nigeria in their final Meridian Cup game on Saturday. Hogg's side finished unbeaten but in third position in competition.

Hogg had played in the earlier games in the tournament where four European nations took on four African sides.

Spain were the overall winners with Switzerland finishing in second place.
