Town have revealed that chairman David Sheepshanks and chief executive Derek Bowden have both taken pay cuts as the club seek to save money. Earlier in the season the club asked players and off-field staff to defer a percentage of their wages until the summer.

A Town spokesman said: "The chairman and the chief executive have both accepted pay cuts in the light of the club's financial problems.

"In the chairman's case it is a massive reduction."

The club are set to ask players to defer a further percentage, a figure thought to be around 20%.
