Joe Royle has left Dean Bowditch out of the party travelling to Kent for tomorrow's Division One game with Gillingham. The omission of Bowditch from the final squad suggests that Martijn Reuser will be fit to face Andy Hessenthaler's side.

The Dutchman picked up a foot injury in the Reading game which he aggravated during last weekend's disappointing 2-2 draw with Brighton. Royle said yesterday he would assess Reuser's fitness after training today.

The Blues are already without Matt Holland who is with the Irish team in Georgia. Joe Royle confirmed yesterday that Tommy Miller would take Holland's place in the centre of midfield.
