Fans expecting to receive their Britannia Stand season ticket this week will be disappointed to discover that there has been an "error in the printing process" and the tickets will therefore be delayed until 15th August. Our bet is on an incorrect spelling of Britannia. Fans who are expecting tickets for the Britannia Stand will get a letter in the next few days confirming their seats and notifying them of the delay.

Town are being linked with Hearts Scottish international Gary Naysmith. The 22-year-old defender, who was the Scottish Young Player of the Year last season, has won one cap for his country. George Burley has not ruled any interest out, although he was very general in his comments: "We have been looking at all sorts of matches, including some in Scotland. There is nothing specific at the moment."

Town's various injury worries should all be fit and well for the beginning of the season. James Scowcroft has set Spurs as his target, while Jamie Clapham could well be fit for Wednesday's friendly with Leyton Orient. Clapham and John Scales will increase their training this week while Jermaine Wright has had his knee scanned and will begin training again next week.

Tickets are on sale for Town's two home friendlies against AZ Alkmaar and Fiorentina. With Churchman's shut due to the building work currently being carried out tickets will be in short supply. Tickets are £12 for adults, £8 for concessions and £4 for children. Town's also have a friendly at Leyton Orient on Wednesday (KO 7.45). It will cost supporters £10 and Town fans will be accommodated in the 1258 seater East Stand, South Wing.
