This Thursday evening, April 3rd, will now see two Town-related public meetings at the Corn Exchange. Chairman David Sheepshanks has called a meeting where he will answer fans' questions regarding the club's current position, his meeting preceding the already announced Supporters Trust gathering called by TWTD.

They will effectively be two separate meetings in the same venue one after the other, both open to the general public. The chairman's meeting will begin at 7.30pm and last for an hour with Sheepshanks speaking for 20 minutes before taking questions from the floor.

The Town chairman is keen to dispel some myths which have grown up around the club during its period of administration and will try to respond to anything put to him: "I will endeavour to answer anything within reasonable constraints.

"The most important thing is the future of the club."

Due to the club being in administration Sheepshanks is legally unable to discuss some areas of the club's finances.

Both meetings will now be held in the Grand Hall at the Corn Exchange, the TWTD meeting originally being set for the smaller Robert Cross Hall in the same building.

This will go ahead as planned with Simon Binns from Supporters Direct speaking as well as a representative from the Cambridge United Supporters Trust.

They will outline how Trusts work and are formed, however the majority of the time will be spent taking questions from supporters.

A second meeting regarding the Trust has been organised for Ye Olde Swiss Cottage pub, above Swiss Cottage tube station, on Wednesday, April 9th at 7.30pm.

Earlier on Thursday evening David Sheepshanks will meet with club shareholders at Portman Road between 5.30 and 6.30pm to speak to them on similar issues as at the later public meeting.
