Colchester United have announced the prices ahead of Town's friendly at Layer Road on July 26th.

Blues' supporters will be charged £16 to see the game while the concession price is £7.

On Wednesday July 16th (KO 7.45pm) the Blues take on Framlingham Town. Although a full first team side won't be on show a number of senior players are like to be on display, according to organiser Keith Mears: “Ipswich have promised to field a good side, with those not playing at Southend on the previous evening, being given a game here at Fram, the balance of the team being selected from the reserves.

"As this is a chance for local people to see some quality players, we wanted to set the admission charges low enough to encourage a good turn out, especially from families and to encourage people to come from other parts of the county.

"We are very grateful to Ipswich Town for playing this match, as the proceeds should be enough to cover the final amount of money we need to pay for the new floodlighting system we have installed at the club."

Admission costs £3 (free for under-fives) and is payable on the door. Directions to the ground can be found at www.framlingham.com.
