Unwanted Town keeper Andy Marshall says that he is in talks about a move away from Portman Road. Marshall was handed a free transfer by boss Joe Royle at the end of last season.

The stopper is keeping quiet about the club's precise identity by admits he is keen on the proposed switch: "If something can be sorted then it is a club I would very much like to join.”

One report claims the club in question may be Fulham, however this is yet to be confirmed.

Marshall's departure would be more good news for the club's finances. The keeper, a Bosman signing in the summer of 2001, is amongst the higher earners at Portman Road and has little prospect of being involved in the first team.
