Town's Darren Bent has been left out of the England U21s squad for their European Championships qualifiers with Macedonia and Portugal next week.

Bent's ommission means the Blues have no players involved in any international squad. Despite this the scheduled game at Crystal Palace is off as the Eagles have five players away with their nations.
