Marshall No to Pilgrims Tuesday, 16th Sep 2003 09:53 Unwanted keeper Andy Marshall has turned down the chance to join Second Division Plymouth Argyle. Marshall, who was in goal for the reserves last night as they lost 4-0 to Chelsea, decided not to make the switch for personal reasons. The reserves were well beaten at Aldershot's Recreation Ground by a strong Chelsea side which included former Spurs' keeper Neil Sullivan and promising central defender Robert Huth. All the goals came in the first half, one from a penalty and another a freekick. Marshall is available on a free transfer but up to now has attracted no interest other than initial enquiries. The stopper's wages are a big stumbling block to any side wanting to take him. Reserves: Andy Marshall, Scott Mitchell, Erkan Okay, Antonio Murray, Aidan Collins, Gerard Nash, Nabil Abidallah, Matt Bloomfield, Sam Morrow, Matt Robinson, Chris Hogg. Subs: Scott Barron, Shane Supple, Craig Reid, Adem Atay and Daniel Flack.
