Miller Puts Off Op Friday, 10th Oct 2003 14:49 Town midfielder Tommy Miller is putting off a jaw operation until the summer so he can get back to action with the Blues. The 24-year-old is currently on the sidelines with a knee problem but is expected to return to Joe Royle's squad soon. Miller's jaw is misaligned and he has been told he needs surgery by his dentist. However, the former Hartlepool man says he is in no hurry to spend more time unable to play: "The last thing I need at the moment is to be sidelined again, so I've put it off until the summer." The Easington-born player played 45 minutes for the reserves on Wednesday but is still a little way off a first team return.
