Town manager Joe Royle says that money will dictate whether he is able to sign loanees Chris Bart-Williams, Alan Mahon and Shefki Kuqi. Royle has reiterated that he is keen to keep all three at Portman Road permanently.

Royle says: "It's all about money. There's a pot we are trying to put things in - gate receipts, savings and hopefully the proceeds from the current share issue - and the board of directors are doing all they can to be supportive.

"I hope to set the ball rolling in seven to 10 days but there is no set running order. There is a limit to what we can do all at once.

"We may be out of administration but things are still tight. We have to be very careful."

Town could face opposition from other clubs for the players' signatures, all of whom have impressed greatly since joining the Blues.
