Bent Wants Permanent Move Saturday, 20th Dec 2003 16:24 On-loan striker Marcus Bent says that he wants to make his switch to Leicester City a permanent one in the summer. The much-travelled frontman joined the Foxes for the season back in August. Bent says he hopes for a Town promotion and Leicester survival double: "I'm enjoying it here. I'm playing well and hope the transfer can be made into a long-term one. "Changing clubs has not been my choice. I think I've been a good money-spinner for the ones I've played for. "I only left Ipswich because they went into administration and needed to save money on their wage bill. "I hope Ipswich get promoted, but I'm more interested in Leicester staying in the Premiership." Bent has scored four goals in nine starts (plus three appearances as sub) since moving to the Walkers Stadium.
