Town have again sent letters out to a significant number of fans warning them that disciplinary action may be taken if they continue to persistently stand during matches.

The North Stand is the area which has the most fans standing and earlier in the season three supporters were banned after receiving warnings.

A Town spokesman said: "We have sent out a significant number of letters to supporters who have been identified as those who persistently stand, bringing to their attention that it breaches the stadium by-laws.

"We are not trying to be killljoys and we understand supporters will stand at certain points in the game and that is fine.

"But the Football Licencing Authority has decided action must be taken against fans who persistently stand. We will continue to monitor the situation and take whatever action is deemed appropriate at the time."
