 Saturday, 30th Sep 2000 23:40 FC Brugge have rejected Town's reported £1 million bid for Gert Verheyen, as the figure was considered a joke by the Belgian club. Ipswich are likely to have to at least double that bid if we are to sign the midfielder, but that figure should be within Town's budget.
