Brown to Rest Wednesday, 4th Oct 2000 20:38 Wayne Brown has been told to rest for two weeks after seeing a specialist this week. The centre-half has had a persistent hip problem all season and it is hoped that the rest will allow this to clear up. Once the injury recovers Brown seems certain to head out on loan at either Wimbledon or Stockport. Both clubs are interested in taking him on loan with a view to a permanent transfer. £750,000 is thought to be the Londoner's valuation.
