Joe Praise for Reuser Monday, 5th Jul 2004 12:14 Town manager Joe Royle has praised Martijn Reuser's contribution during his time at Portman Road. The midfielder signed for Dutch side Willem II on a free transfer on Friday. Royle told the club site that Reuser's ability to change a game when coming off the bench is second to none: "Martijn's a special talent, I wish him all the best for the future. "He was great to have around the place, he's a really nice guy as well as a talented player. "I think he is as good a substitute as I have ever seen, and I don't mean that disrespectfully. His ability to come off the bench and make an impact on a match was a real bonus for us. "He is a dead-ball specialist and has something a little bit different in his game. He came on and won us big games last season, and indeed the season before. "But he wanted to start games and I, like George Burley before me, didn't see him as one of my starting eleven. "I'd like to take the opportunity to thank him for his contribution to Ipswich Town."
