Bramble Chuffed to Return Monday, 26th Jul 2004 11:23 Former Town defender Titus Bramble says he has been looking forward to Wednesday's Dale Roberts testimonial for some time. The Ipswich-born player moved from Town to the Magpies in the summer of 2001 for a fee approaching £5 million. Bramble, who is expected to be one of three ex-Town players in action along with Darren Ambrose and Kieron Dyer, says he wants to catch up with old friends: "I've been looking forward to this game since it was arranged. It will be good to go back down to Portman Road and see a few familiar faces. "I still keep in touch with a lot of the lads down there and it will be good to play against them on Wednesday. "I'm sure it will be a hard game for us because they will be hoping for a good season and they'll be desperate to get back up into the Premiership." Former Town boss Sir Bobby Robson says he could field new signing Patrick Kluivert on Wednesday: "He may play but I don't know his general fitness and I couldn't say until Tuesday. "I don't want to risk him by playing him in a match when he is not fit." Robson has confirmed that former England skipper Alan Shearer will be in his squad.
