Town centre-half Jason De Vos has been named in the Canada squad for their World Cup qualifying semi-final group matches against Guatemala, Honduras and Costa Rica.
De Vos, who skippers Frank Yallop's side, will join up with the squad on Sunday after Town's trip to Derby County before facing Guatemala in Vancouver on the Wednesday.
He will be back with the Blues ahead of the home game with Cardiff City.
De Vos and Canada subsequently face Honduras on September 4th and then four days later come up against Costa Rica.
Honduras are again their opponents on October 9th, then Costa Rica for a second time on October 13th and finally Guatemala on November 17th.
The top two from the group will go through to the final stage, made up of one group of six teams, who play each other twice.
The top three teams in the group will qualify automatically for the finals, but the side in fourth will face a play-off with the winners of a knock-out game from the Asian qualifying region.
