Town to Move for Mullins
Town to Move for Mullins

Town manager George Burley may be interested to discover that long-time Town target Hayden Mullins has been transfer-listed by his club Crystal Palace. England U21 international Mullins has been transfer-listed by manager Alan Smith along with Jamie Smith and Clinton Morrison for an alleged breach of discipline. Town have been linked with Mullins on several occasions over the last year or so with the link particularly strong in the close season prior to 99/00. His availability may raise the Burley eyebrow, although the background to his listing may put the Town manager off. He's never been that keen on troublemakers has he?

The story mentioned earlier of two impending Americans coming to Town is being reported as true by the players' club DC United. We spoke to Town on the matter a few weeks back and they denied that teenagers Bobby Convey and Antonio Otero are joining the Blues for a period of training. However, DC United, coached by Frank Yallop, say the two will train with Town from November 9th until December 3rd. Apparently neither is likely to have any chance of a British passport so if it is true the idea is presumably to give Frank Yallop's boys a taste of British football.
