Stuart: I'd Consider Town
Stuart: I'd Consider Town

Charlton midfielder Graham Stuart says he would consider a loan move to Portman Road if he felt he had no future with the Addicks. Earlier this week, Town boss Joe Royle indicated that had Darren Bent joined Charlton then he would have wanted Stuart on loan.

Stuart has not been involved in Alan Curbishley's side this season and says that if the situation doesn't change he'll consider his options: "I was looking forward to the season. And I'm disappointed not to have figured, to say the least.

"I am surprised that I haven't been on the bench either and I can't say I know the reason why.

"I've gone to see Curbs about it and ask what my situation is and he says he's keen to keep me because he wants a big squad.

"I feel I can still do a job in the Premiership but the situation is pretty simple really. If in the next few months I don't get a look in, then in fairness to me I think the gaffer's got to let me go out on loan.

"I've got a lot of respect for Joe Royle. I'd consider going there. If you're not featuring - and I'm blatantly not - you have to look at all of your options."
