Joe Considering Loan Move

Town boss Joe Royle says he is considering adding one more loan player to his squad. Royle has enough cash available to bring in the player and he is assessing his potential targets.

The Town manager said: "There is cash in the kitty to bring in one player for a month and I'll be thinking it through in the next couple of weeks."

After Sunday's game at Coventry the Blues are without a fixture until October 16th when they take on Burnley at Portman Road.

Royle has said on a number of occasions that he is keen to add to his squad through loans and has a number of players in mind about whom he has repeatedly made enquiries.

Town's boss says that his squad is at present too small: "Basically, we are operating on 15 outfield players and two keepers. It's not a lot, but we need to consider very carefully any moves in the loan market.

"We only have a limited sum of money to spend and it is essential that we spend it wisely."

Tony Dinning's two-month loan is up after Sunday's match and the Wigan player is not expected to be offered a longer term deal after failing to impress in his time with the Blues.
