Town's South Stand development continues apace with reinforcement and formwork beginning on the shear walls of the stand. As well as this the main goalpost columns will arrive by the end of the week and the first sections of the main beam has already arrived with the rest arriving over the next few weeks. Work also continues on the lift pit.

Elsewhere work begins tomorrow on erecting the indoor sports hall at the club's Playford Road training ground. The hall is pre-fabricated and has been imported from Canada. When it is complete it will comply with the FA's standard for Football Academy indoor areas.

Claus Thomsen has signed a new deal with his current club Wolfsburg. The former Town midfielder was expected to leave on a Bosman at the end of the season, but has now committed himself to the club. Similarly Ian Marshall has signed a contract with Bolton. The former Town striker joined Moaning Sam Allardyce's men on a short-term deal at the beginning of the season, but has now committed himself 'til the end of the season. Unsurprisingly, Marshall is currently injured.
