First choice Town keeper Kelvin Davis has praised deputy Lewis Price for his performances since he came into the side. Davis picked up a back problem in the Reading game and Price came on as a half-time sub and has replaced him in the three subsequent matches.

The pair are great friends and Davis told the club site he is pleased that the Welsh U21 international is doing so well: "He has done fantastic since coming into the side and I am really chuffed for him.

"He had gained confidence from going away with Wales but it's important to be playing for your club as well.

"Now he's had that opportunity and done brilliantly. It's given him a real boost and confidence is 90 per cent of a keeper's game.

"Of course, I have given him a few tips along the way and that has helped him enormously!"

Davis will again be missing when Town travel to Watford but is expected to be back in full training next week.
