Town striker Darren Bent says he's not yet sure whether Wigan will be the side which will stand between the Blues and the Championship title. The highly-rated frontman told TWTD that he hopes to stay with Town to continue the campaign after the January transfer window closes.

Bent says the Latics are a great attacking force but has been impressed by a number of other teams: "I'm not too sure whether they are the side to beat in this division. I think the Leeds game was the toughest game all season. Reading were very tough as well. Going forward I think Wigan are fantastic but defensively I'm not so sure."

He says he expects Town's defence to be able to repel Wigan's strike duo: "Roberts and Ellington are a formidable pair and best friends like Darren Ambrose and I were here.

"They are both very powerful and both very quick, so it'll be a test when we come up against them. But our back four have been fantastic all season, so if they can keep everyone else out, why can't they do the same with them?"

Asked whether he will be with the Blues come February 1st, the 20-year-old said he hoped so and sees no reason to move on at this stage of his career: "I'm playing week-in, week-out, in a good side, so why leave?"

Bent was talking to TWTD in an interview which appears in issue 75 of the fanzine which will be out at the Stoke City match on December 28th. TWTD sellers will be placed around the ground ahead of kick-off, with our stall in the usual place by the statue of Sir Alf.
