Draw Forces Fixture Move?
Draw Forces Fixture Move?

Town fans have at least one FA Cup result to look out for on Saturday, despite the Blues exiting the competition at the third round stage. The game between Leicester City and Reading could have a bearing on Town's remaining fixture schedule.

The Championship match at Portman Road against Leicester set for February 12th will be postponed should the Foxes and Reading draw at the Madejski Stadium and require a replay.

With international fixtures set for the week beginning February 7th, there is no midweek slot in place for FA Cup fourth round replays in time for the fifth round on February 19th.

The Football Association have agreed with the Premier and Football Leagues that clubs who lose players to international fixtures in that week will play their replays on February 12th, the scheduled date of the Town-Leicester match.

Also worth keeping an eye on are Nottingham Forest. They face Peterborough United in the fourth round and should they progress to the fifth and then the sixth rounds their game at Portman Road on March 12th would also face a move.
