Peters and Canada Through Saturday, 29th Jan 2005 12:55 Jaime Peters and Canada's U20s qualified for the FIFA World Youth Championship with a 1-0 victory over hosts Honduras in their second game at the CONCACAF qualifying mini-tournament. The Championship finals take place in Holland during June and July. Peters, who will officially join the Blues in May when he turns 18, played the first 45 minutes before being tactically subbed. Sheffield United Academy striker Ryan Gyaki scored the winner on the hour mark, his third goal in the two games. Winger Peters played the full 90 minutes of Canada's 2-1 win against Mexico on Wednesday and set up the winning goal for Canada. The Canadians complete their matches with a game against Jamaica on Sunday.
