Reserves Face Chelsea

Town's reserves take on Chelsea's second string at Portman Road this evening (KO 7pm) in their final home game of the season. Central defender Drissa Diallo continues his recovery from the hamstring injury which has kept him out of action since before Christmas.

Also included in Steve McCall's squad are Lewis Price, Matt Richards, James Scowcroft and Jimmy Juan.

There is no place for striker Pablo Couñago which may indicate that the Spaniard is in Joe Royle's plans for the first team at Leeds on Saturday. The ex-Celta Vigo player did well when on as a sub against Sunderland on Sunday.

Winger Dean McDonald is on a short-term contract designed to give him time to impress the Town management. If he does well the former Arsenal man will be offered a longer deal in the summer.

Scottish midfielder Fraser Beveridge, winger Daniel Flack and midfielder Adem Atay have all been told they will be released at the end of the season and will want to put on decent displays in front of watching scouts.

Reserves: Lewis Price, Daniel Flack, Matt Richards, Fraser Beveridge, Drissa Diallo , Ben Patten, Danny Haynes, Jimmy Juan, James Scowcroft, Dean McDonald, Stuart Ainsley, Charlie Sheringham, Shane Supple, Blair Hammond, Adem Atay, Jack Haverson.
