Club captain Jim Magilton says Spanish striker Pablo Couñago can still play his part in Town's promotion push. Couñago is expected to start against Leeds on Saturday as the Blues seek to end their away goal drought.

Magilton told the club site that he was impressed with the former Spain U21 international's contribution as a sub last Sunday: "He got on the ball and showed real quality against Sunderland.

"He's not had the best of times this season and hasn't helped himself on occasions either, but we all know what he can do and he made a real difference when he came on.

"I'm delighted for him as well. He can be a real handful for defenders and I think Pablo could still play his part and be an important player for us over the rest of the season."
