Player of the Year Shefki Kuqi says preliminary discussions have already taken place regarding a new contract. Midfielder Tommy Miller has also been told he will be offered a new deal.

Kuqi said: "I have already had talks and it won't take me long to sign a new contract.

"First, we need to see where we finish and we are concentrating on getting into the Premiership."

Tommy Miller is also out of contract at the end of June but told TWTD that he has also begun talking about a new deal: "The manager had a word with us about six weeks ago and told me I would be getting offered something, depending on what happens in the league.

"If we get promoted then a longer contract could be offered. If we don't, then we'll take it from there. Hopefully, it'll get sorted out sooner rather than later.

"It's reassuring that he's told me I will be offered something and as long as I know that it puts my mind at rest.

"I'm happy here and ideally I want to stay and hopefully it will all be sorted out soon."
