Leeds United have emerged as late entrants in the race for the signature of Tommy Miller. However, Sunderland look all but certain to sign the former Hartlepool star, who is currently in Spain on his stag do.

Miller's house in Suffolk is up for sale and TWTD understands that the former Hartlepool man has told friends that he will be joining the Black Cats over the summer.

Leeds, who last season offered Jermaine Wright a contract worth £9,000-a-week, more than he had been on with the Blues in the Premiership, are unlikely to be able to match newly-promoted Sunderland's offer to Miller.
