Miller on Future

Targeted midfielder Tommy Miller says he is yet to make a decision on his future. The out-of-contract former Hartlepool man is interesting Sunderland and Leeds.

Miller, who has been away on his stag do since Town's play-off defeat to West Ham, says that he is considering his options: "I have not decided on my future as yet. I'm waiting to get a contract offer from Ipswich in writing which should arrive within the next day or two.

"I have had four great years at Ipswich and ideally I would like to stay here."

Newly-promoted Black Cats would be able offer the highest wage but Miller says this isn't the only issue: "If the offer from Sunderland is genuine and something was to come of that, then obviously being from that area I would sit down and talk with them.

"But it is not about money, it is about what is best for my future. I have not had talks with anybody as yet."

Miller, who is getting married next weekend, has put his house on the market and looks likely to leave Portman Road.
