Town have taken Guinean international defender Schumann Bah on trial. The 30-year-old will be involved in tonight's friendly at Colchester United (KO 7.45pm).

Boss Joe Royle told the club site: "Schumann is training with us for a few days and we will have a look at him against Colchester.

"He's a defender, a right-back, and we will see how he gets on."

Spanish right-back Sito and South African centre-half Mark Fish will also play some part at Layer Road.

Born in LĂ©hon, France, Bah began his career with Le Mans before moving on to Chateauroux in 1998.

In 2000 he switched to Metz where he spent three years playing in the French top division. Bah then moved on to Swiss club Neuchatel Xamax and then Turkish side Malatyaspor last season.

Bah was with the Guinea squad at the African Nations Cup in 2004.

The addition of the Guinean to tonight's squad sees 17-year-old Northern Irish central defender Chris Casement drop out.

Revised squad: Bah, Currie, De Vos, Fish, Forster, Garvan, Horlock, Juan, Knights, Magilton, McDonald, Naylor, Parkin, Price, Richards, Sito, Supple, Westlake, Wilnis.
