Town's reserves lost 2-1 to Dagenham and Redbridge at their Victoria Road ground on Wednesday night. Canadian winger Jaime Peters was involved with the Blues for the first time since signing his contract earlier this week and played the full 90 minutes.

The Daggers went ahead in the fifth minute through Lee Goodwin and Paul Benson put the home side further ahead four minutes after the break.

Kieran Leabon pulled one back for the Blues just before the hour from a Darryl Knights pass.

Peters came close to scoring himself early on and created a number of chances for Knights in a bright display on the right wing.

Reserves: Shane Supple, Luke Webster, Scott Barron, Cathal Lordan, Chris Casement, James Krause, Jaime Peters, Liam Trotter, Darryl Knights, Danny Haynes (Kieran Leabon 56), Liam Craig. Unused subs: Charlie Sheringham, Jack Haverson, Ian Nimmo, Tony Boto, Oliver Fenn.
