Striker Nicky Forster is back in light training and is on target for a return to action early in October. The 31-year-old underwent cartilage surgery in mid-August.

Physio Dave Williams told the club site: "Nicky is doing well and moving forward. He will be doing some light running this week and is on schedule to be back playing in around the six-week recovery period that normally goes with the type of operation he had."

Forster scored on his Town debut as the Blues beat Cardiff 1-0 on the opening day of the season. The former Reading man also featured in the away games at QPR and Leicester before going under the surgeon's knife.
