Aoudia Was Target
Aoudia Was Target

TWTD understands that the Oslo Øst player the Blues recently went to Norway to watch was striker or midfielder Karim Aoudia. The Norwegian U19 international was expected to be in action in a game with Brumunddal but was only used as a late substitute.

Instead Brumunddal midfielder Vemund Brekke Skard impressed the watching Town representative and is currently on trial at Portman Road.

Aoudia, 19, was first spotted by the Blues earlier this year when he played for Norway in the European U19 Championship in Northern Ireland and scored in a 3-2 defeat to England.

If Town want to pursue their interest they face opposition from Blackburn. Aoudia, whose family is originally from Morocco, has already had two trials at Ewood Park and is expected to return for a third spell now the Norwegian season has finished.

Aoudia, whose contract has just ended, joined Oslo Øst from Vålerenga in 2003.
